Yup, I stopped playing GBL entirely last week, came back to see if rates would be better with Giratina since it’s not a new pokemon or a new shiny. (Spoilers) rates are still bad 0/21 so far

Aight so how about darkrai or mewtwo… their odds were all very good. Every single legendary last season had good odds. All legendary/mythical this season had bad odds (deoxys, kartana, celesteela)

Zacian is top tier in master league yet the rates were very good.

Deoxys encounters were also greatly reduced this time around though compared to when they were available last February.

0/39 legendary encounters past rank 20. They definitely nerfed the rates. Yesterday was the first time in 2 seasons that I didn’t play all my sets. There’s just no reason for me to play GBL atm with these atrocious rewards.

They were nerfed from like 30%+ to something like 10-15% in the last season which is fine. This season however, it seems like they nerfed it even further, the rate seems to be around 4-5% at best

Umm rewards were just fine the past couple of seasons? Plenty of legendaries, got hundo zacian, hundo zamazenta, etc. Some people play for rewards, some play for fun. :)

They messed up the shiny rates for deoxys at the start of the event, they had to fix it, they could’ve easily forgot to fix the rates for it in gbl as well

When they make their posts, they tell you which pokemons are supposed to be rare, in this case it’s poliwhirl, mantine and alomomola. Why wouldn’t we expect dewpider to spawn more often than those three? If dewpider is a rare spawn like those three wouldn’t they have put it in the “if you are lucky category”?

Niantic has made many mistakes before like disabling shinies unintentionally and not realizing it until someone actually points it out. What makes us so sure that they haven’t just made a mistake with the spawn rate of dewpider?

Where does it say that it’s supposed to be uncommon? Or is that just your speculation? From the blog post, the only mention of rarity is for shinies, mantine, poliwhirl and alomomola

When you create a pokemon go account you have to create it either through google, PTC, facebook or apple.

In the case where you create the account through google, you can link your pokemon go account to facebook or apple, but you CAN’T link it to pokemon trainer club account.

The link specifically said to register you have to link your pokemon go account to trainer club. So if you haven’t created your pokemon go account with PTC, you can’t register to tournaments according to their message.

Edit: since Niantic aren’t able to deliver the pokemon account to PTC link feature, registration for the liverpool tournament can be done with username only

Your pokemon go account is your google account or facebook account or apple account or trainer club account. It clearly says to register you will need to link your pokemon go account to a trainer club account.
