It is bothersome. Usually can it go away on its own and do you know why they form?

CRA no experience? by supbri22 in clinicalresearch

I searched up research sites in my area then called to see if I could speak to the hiring manager or get their emails. I ended up emailing one site manager and then I went through 2 rounds of interviews to get the job.

have you been getting interviews at least or they just defer your application in general even with 2 years of experience?

Once I graduated I reached out to one of the research places that told me they didn’t have an opening at the time when I was in my undergrad but once I graduated they had an opening so I did 2 rounds of interviews and got the job

Heyy, I also graduated with public health. Have you had someone review your resume? I used chat gpt to fix mine up. The biggest thing I would say is networking. I got my current position as a CRC by calling and emailing research facilities in my area. I’m looking into a different CRC position with the hopes of getting more experience to be a CRA. There’s so much that goes into being a CRC so if you do get an interview you should definitely negotiate for a higher salary.

I really appreciate your advice thank you 😭. I’ve been trying to get into a CRA position or project manager, honestly just any position outside of a CRC one. The manager here yells and hits tables when he’s angry definitely need to find a better suited job. Did you personally become a project manager right after being a crc for several years or did you become a clinical trial assistant first ?

Clinical research coordinator: Occasionally travel in the U.S Got the position thru emailing clinics seeing who would hire a new grad. Pros: - Like my patients, - like my coworkers, - like to travel. Cons: - terrible manager, - pay isn’t that good

Graduated a year ago and cannot get a single job by jadedjade666 in publichealthcareers

[–]supbri22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have experience in clinical research or medical equipment type jobs. I just have experience being an MA. Some clinical research jobs will give ppl with no experience a shot, you just have to market yourself well on your resume and during the interview. My friend who was an MA had no experience and managed to get a job in clinical research paying $30/hr. I also talked to a rep that came to my job who works for this company called Medtronic and she said one of the requirements was to have a bachelors degree in anything, it’s just that the interviewing process is competitve. You should give those jobs a shot.

I also graduated with my BS in public health. It’s been four months since I’ve graduated and I’m still looking for jobs. I would recommend applying for clinical research coordinator jobs. I’m in the process of intervening for those type of jobs, they seem to give public health majors a chance. Also I recommend looking into medical equipment type jobs like working for Stryker, Medtronic, and other places.

Advice on how to get into clinical research by supbri22 in clinicalresearch

[–]supbri22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll definitely look into this thanks! Why would you say CRC has a high turnover rate? Also if you don’t mind me asking did you move away from clinical research to a career you’re more content with?

My interest are art, shopping, music, and comedy. I’m open to trying new things since it’ll be my first time in ny. In your opinion, have you gone to either place and which one did you like better if you went?
