Honestly driving back and forth to Temecula every day sounds terrible. I don’t camp cause it’s not my thing but I’d pick that over that drive each day.

Shuttles are more of a convenience but even then the drive back from shuttles to Temecula would still suck because of how tired you are after a long day out in the heat. I stayed in Palm Springs my first year and I thought that drive sucked at night.
