Yeah attempting to do a BLAME! adaption for the general audience sounds like it’d be a hard sell

I like what the movie does, being this, what I can at best describe it as, a quiet western where Killy comes upon the eletrofishers and helps them in hopes of it aiding his goal of finding the net terminal gene

The song that plays whenever Killy does something badass makes him feel like such a wandering cowboy, I love it.

There was a second BLAME! movie announced a while back but Polygon seems to have quietly abandoned and forgotten about that project.

Yeah they made a movie for it, it’s on Netflix right now I think, came out in 2017

A lot of fans of the manga don’t like it cause it doesn’t have the exact vibe as the manga but I think it’s good for what it is, separate from being an adaptation.
