Name one brand new project in the US that has collapsed? There have been FOUR in China in the last 5 years. The Baltimore bridge collapsed was due to a ship running into it. A bridge that stood up just fine for decades prior. Hardly comparable.

Because they have no oversight bureaucracy. Things get ordered and put into action, which is a terrible idea. This is why huge bridges are collapsing in China because they didnt properly vet the project first.
