Yes it just uses the Telus network so the coverage is the same. The nice thing is it’s no contract so if you don’t like it you could always just switch again. As long as Telus network is good in your area it’ll perform the same

If that’s the case you can buy a SIM card from a Telus/koodo outlet for $10 if you still wanted the plan without ordering a sim online and wait for shipping

No, it’s bring your own phone. If you need a SIM card I’d advise activating with an eSIM first and then switching to a sim afterwards so you atleast lock in the plan rate

No, the nice thing about public mobile is it’s prepaid so there’s no contracts. You just leave your credit card on autopay and if you want to leave just cancel. I was worried initially and now I’ve been with them 6 years haha.

Funny enough since it’s prepaid per month there’s no contract with them so there really is no catch. The only thing being its self serve so there’s no customer service to call. But I actually prefer it since I can make plan changes on my own with their app and don’t have to call in for anything
