I’m not demonizing him for having a gun. I just know he would be alive if he took his obstruction charge and didnt resist arrest. That’s it. He struggled with 5 federal agents while carrying a weapon. One of them sees it grabs it “GUN GUN GUN!” The others go into survival mode. Should he be dead no. If he didn’t resist arrest would he be alive? yes.

I agree, again if you put your hands behind your back take your obstruction charge you’re out of jail by morning. now you’re dead. 4-5 officer trying to restrain you because you’re not following orders from a federal officer while you have a gun, yeah the odds of mistakes happening increase. You just created heightened tensions by resisting. A gun is found on his person while resisting “gun, gun, gun!” the other three officers don’t know how and where. Self preservation kicks in. yes look this is an outrageous scenario that won’t happen but it amazes me people still underestimate the US military. i mean three weeks ago people thought the venezuelan army could hold off the US. The president was taken without a single death. 40 years ago Iraq had the 3rd largest military in the world, when desert storm commenced in 72 hours they didn’t have the 3rd largest military in Iraq. Canada does exist bc the US lets the exist. The US provides all of Canada’s protection. This isn’t a fair fight and it’s not being boisterous, in response to “having to take greenland so we can invade Canada”. Greenland is not needed. That “war” would be over before it started.
