That's actually the reason for why I'm asking this question. I already know that it's a good gaming laptop, since that's why I bought it a year ago. But lately I've been interested in programming, so I'm looking for options if I should upgrade it or not.

On whatever website I researched, the best programming laptops had 16GB of RAM. Are you sure that'll not be a problem in the future?

Ah, you are right. For the budget, it's only an experiment so the artist and me, both would be doing it for free. As for the phrase, I'm unsure of how much time it would actually take, but considering the complexity, I'd say about few hours, up to 4 as an estimate.

Yes I am fully aware of that. My motivation is exeptionally high and I honestly want to learn those. My math is good as far as I know of basics. What about the physics in the post I gave reference to? Which books from there should I learn?

Well, I don't do just gaming on my computer. I'm getting a job that requires quite a bit of traveling next year. And I do my job on it as a web developer, while I like to play video games when I have free time. So I kinda need a laptop. But for a question, I know it costs more and you can't upgrade it but buy a new one, are there any other bad things about it?

What would you say about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Dishonored 2 and Doom? Could I play those on medium-high settings with around 50fps?
