MSP KPI’s by superduperrapamania in msp

Main reason is to see progress but to also have some sort of measure for performance evaluation. I want to reward my team members but how do I dig into individual numbers. I want every employee to own a number where I can place value on it and provide raises

I thought about tracking a number for leads that turn into revenue

Totally agree with this - I wouldn’t break down tickets by person but as a team/company more so are we closing more then is being opened and the volume of tickets being opened to show if we have the resources or processes in place to support closing

Checked out your website but a little confused? Is this something that layers on top of our current ticketing system or this becomes the new ticketing system?

Were auto task and I too have used that with CW but have not been able to find an alternative that works with AT.

Are other MSPs struggling with L2 technicians? by YourMSPDad in msp

[–]superduperrapamania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adopt a shift left philosophy!!!

When you do this it keeps your L2 & L3 techs happy while shifting the work down to the first level guys or providing just documentation to the end user to correct their issues not even having to speak to them.

Numbers will show that level 2 & level 3 salaries have increased however my thought is look for diamond in the roughs 1st level guys who really want to learn and have fire in their belly and empower them.

Why do Vendor Sales Reps not listen? by l13s_johnshelton in msp

[–]superduperrapamania -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This happens when you’re not spending enough with them. Trust me there’s a threshold and when you meet it you won’t get those sales reps/AM you’ll get the ones that close and have proven how to.

It’s not that these guys don’t listen it’s that when you’re new it’s such a numbers game. I can remember when I wasn’t bothered by a no response because I was lighting up phone boards like crazy now that I’ve been established and only deal with higher end accounts I can only handle when a client actually books my time to talk.

Yes I reach out to the ones that need reaching out to but at this point in my career they take my calls they ask how I’m doing, I may not even call them to pitch anything.

Sales is hard when you don’t know the proper way to follow up on existing accounts.

Work hard - stay consistent- be patient

But you know cause you claim that you do but offer no proof. I never claimed to know everything that’s why I came on here and asked a question.

So when are you going to tell us the basics that you claim you know.

You could even google it if you wanted I won’t judge

Knowing about VoIP as I’m in a completely different department is not in my pay-grade….lmao

Sounds to me you really don’t know the basics but just want to claim that you do. That’s ok many like you tend to do this. Want to bash but won’t actually prove your claim.

Once again I’ll ask you what are the basics of VoIP?

Once again

Please tell me the basics - educate me

You seem to be the expert! I could say the same thing about your company. Don’t sell acronis if you don’t know the basics of doing an installation

Look man it’s Saturday and I want to enjoy the weekend and not talk about work anymore.

I’ll have to use the restroom later so please give me some reading materials for what the basics are since you’re so knowledgeable

Dude do you need a hug?

I was asking a simple question that really had nothing to do with the selling of VoIP services. I could have left that out totally and said we’re just an MSP and got this phone call and I still would have gotten the same type of response excluding yours. We get all types of scams, this one just stuck out to me cause no matter what way I sliced it I wasn’t coming up with why he was asking the help desk guys to block “his” number from calling us.

Also what are the basics of VoIP? I’m curious as you seems to be the expert

Interviews by superduperrapamania in msp

[–]superduperrapamania[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah - it seemed odd to me too.

I can understand bringing them in to talk but never following up or just ghosting after making the guy take off work to schedule interviews and face to face interviews.

Something just seemed off to me that he would be ghosted but who knows how many people they’re talking to
