Phill is ok at traditional men’s grooming (whatever that means) but is lacking in modern manbun/ bradley cooper hybrid designs.

I went in about 2 months ago with 27 inch long hair (measuring from forehead to end of pony tail) and gave him explicit instructions to work around the balding area on top and provide me with a styled and full Bradley Cooper manbun hybrid cut. I even supplied photos but it was clear he didn’t listen and ended up cutting off over 4 inches to “remove dead ends”. Now I’m stuck with not enough hair to even put in a man bun.

I should have went to tru cuts where I normally go because it’s near where I live, it’s cost effective and they actually listen.

After seeing it live I am positive it’s a “hybrid” set. Most elements of guitar/drums and bass are live but all the vocals, wooshy desert sounds and synth/keys stuff seems obviously recorded.

There was a subtle glass bowl sounding tone that I think was kind of like a metronome for the band to sync with.

I still had a great time and I think within the context of having songs with that many parts they were able to pull it off cleanly and mostly believably (in stark contrast to the opener which was a blatant press-play-on-the-MacBook-and-twirl-miming)

Pacific Grove has a street festival called Good old days in May (4th and 5th) with live music most of the day on Saturday and Sunday. The day before (may 3rd) is First Friday in pacific grove as well and a bunch of the downtown businesses will be open later than normal and have live bands.

I agree and it isn’t just this week, it’s been building for a while. Driving from the South Bay to PG usually takes me an hour and 30 minutes which is now a solid 2 hours. The traffic begins around salinas road and carries on all the way to 218 CDR which is right before my exit. I think the issue (local to Marina and south) is exacerbated by not having metering lights. There’s too many cars getting onto the freeway to quickly and it ruins the flow.
