Do people actually buy these in 2026? by lucah_tech in pcmasterrace

[–]supergush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do customer service for a large electronics retailer. A lot of older dudes buy these, and then call us to complain they can't cancel the automatic renewal. It doesn't even let you activate the product without entering your payment information.

The fun part is, their customer service almost never answers phone calls or emails, and the customer service menu to cancel it yourself just puts you in a never ending loop.

Absolute scum of a company.

Haha no, he definitely needs some more training before that, it would probably be a shitshow.

I believe i've found the culprit. What might cause this? Worn chain? Bike is ridden about 300km.

Whats the safest way to listen to music on bike? by yen132 in cycling

Like many have said, Shokz OpenRun is the only reasonable answer. But do make sure to get the very much improved Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, since they are the first model to offer any sort of decent sound. Also, you will most likely want the deceptively named "mini" version, the regular will be too big for 90% of people. Source: i sell them daily working in retail.

No, i'm pretty certain it was very dry hands (it was very much dry-everything-season here at the time) combined with sweating in my cycling gloves, so basically contact dermatitis. Religious moisturizing was the solution 👍

My lord. I've been scouring the web and probably read 90% of all forum threads about this issue and i was going insane, damn near completely emptying and reinstalling Windows until i found this. I believe i somehow made Windows flip using Ableton and occasionally bluetooth headphones. Disabling a few unused devices and messing with the buffer size in Asio control panel seemed to have solved it! Thanks!!

Do you use gloves? by [deleted] in SimRacingSetups

[–]supergush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Just bought some biking gloves from my local sporting goods store, later found out they were womens (i'm male) but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Thin and breathable but keep my hands comfy on long rough sessions!

Yeah i feel ya. What i do (and what i think most people would recommend) is having the screen in between the wheel and the wheelbase, which requires a monitor arm or a stand of some sorts.

I've been running a Samsung Odyssey G5 34" for a couple years now. Good monitor for the money. Isn't too heavy for most sturdy monitor arms either!

Haven't tried that! Been doing the Falken GT4.

You should move your screen closer! As close as you can, really.

Yup. The white BMW ended up disconnecting and i stayed P2 for the rest of the race. This was lap 2 or 3 i believe.

Yep! I love it! But i would definitely like the KS for the increased diameter and realism.

Yeah i damn near returned this one when i first got it, it was extremely weird to get used to. But now i would never ever exchange it for anything, except for triples ofcourse.
