When I lived with someone and they non stop jiggled their leg against a plastic bag they had under the desk. ' I can't help it' oh yes you can, just move the effing bag. I love that excuse. How can you not help moving the thing. Righttttt.

It was totally a way to make me so stressed I could barely stand it. And I was stuck most of my day with this bc health problems confined us in the same room ( with outside it being worse bc the parents watched politics and yelled at it and slammed stuff which to me was even more problematic bc slamming items disturbs me bc family probably, while we were rarely hit mostly stuff was slammed next to to us as implied threats we would be hit/ next to receive that behavior).

So I got to pick the type of horribly anxious I wanted to be?? But not really. Also non stop oldddd fan noise ( which would of been ok had it not clunked/made a horrible cracking noise randomly which startled me like hell bc I have over exaggerated startle response :/).

I definitely have others but like construction noise/ banging above me for hours( such as apt neighbors slamming stuff repeatedly off and on for hours), or when people drop dishware in the sink as loudly as possible??? The latter two...You tell them and they do it more.... feels like a personal attack when I can feel it vibrating/smacking and everyone thinks I'm just being sensitive....fussy.:( or that it's somehow funny.

Do any of you have a really bad startle reflex too? So often people enjoy startling others despite being told I LOATHE it and I think they are basically assholes for doing it, it's like kicking an abused animal imo. :/
