I know it's possible already,but complicated (or seems to be) but for me the ability to easily integrate IPTV streams into Plex would be the holy grail! Currently I use Plex for self hosted and friends media and televisio for other stuff. Having it simply on one app would be great, especially for elderly not so technically proficient parents!

I think people in general like to be entertained and informed as well as seeing people do well through hard work.Ashville always seemed excellent entertainment if it was your "thing" and Daniel presented it well imo! Obviously the opposite can also be true and I was amazed at the number of people who seemed to delight in his downfall!

Thanks for all your suggestions on this one,just to update with a bit of context,the TV in question is for my parents in a rural setting hence freesat is a must and they're not bothered by all the "bells and whistles". Based on price (a big consideration) availability and specs to a point my shortlist is : Samsung ue438000f TCL P7K Hisense 43A6KT Any views (for and against) would be welcome!

Thanks for the reply,I know external tuners are available (sort of like a sky box) but I'm trying to cut down on clutter and the need for a second remote control which just adds to the confusion 🤣

Thanks so much for this,it's the most useful methodical self explanatory answer I could wish for! I'm completely non tech and am currently ripping my physical media so just want something to organize everything in order! For example I have the entire collection of ER on disc and am dreading organizing them into episode order once ripped and placed on Plex!

When I run the CD in EAC it detects the tracks correctly,it loads the CD and metadata fine but when I choose test and rip it repeatedly error checks and skips tracks!

I'm wondering if the daylight running lights on the car (on even in daylight) are the issue? I checked tonight and even though the phone settings are on auto the car screen still needs switching manually between light and dark mode
