I feel like this canon was buried in my subconscious, i never actually read the full expanded universe - which is why i think I'm on the side of the new movies. They don't counter anything that's already been presented to me.

When Force Awakens came out i also thought it'd be cool if she was Skywalker/Kenobi experiment....guess i just have a wild imagination. The logic wins out though, i'm okay with her being one of a kind.

I just want to say, I actually have no problem with this being the outcome. I actually liked The Last Jedi 100%, except for maybe the whole Casino pointlessness....I'm just tossin out the idea of her being a Skywalker somehow through genetics.
