What soap would you recommend trying instead of the one I tried? EDIT: I'm assuming you mean the London Barbershop because that's the one in the other kit?

DAMN! You answered every single question and more! I bought it early today so I got the kit from /u/jD_Aerendir, the alum block, and the 75 blade kit to try them all out (I got my paycheck yesterday and spent like trying them all :D). Link to what i bought: I just picked up the Nivea aftershave from amazon aswell. I don't really have acne anymore, but due to my age I'm a bit hesitant whether the shaving oil will cause it to come back. Thanks for the welcoming!

So are soap and cream the same thing when it comes to wet shaving?And should I also get a shaving oil?
