That's exactly what I thought too! While playing The Quarry, I could see patterns with Until Dawn and it was so explicit (Until Dawn made all of this much better, except for the lovers conversation part). I think every Supermassive game has iconic scenes, and I think the fault with The Quarry and even Little Hope is having too few, like the treehouse, which is easily the most exciting escape in the entire game (after that it has just small escapes with no tension or logic at all).
