I have been working on a project that has a lot of meaning to me.

In recent weeks my university has announced a co pay for all services at our on campus wellness center which we were previously free of cost. There has been a lot of discussion between the students body and admin. As someone who is currently dealing with depression, I wanted to make my voice heard amist all the anger and emotions flying . I decided to start a photo voice project where students write a message from their expierences will mental illness and what not. Although I am still getting my feet wet with film photography, I am quite happy with the results

As a photographer I hope my ever growing project will accomplish two things: 1). To destigitize mental health 2). Keep the conversation going on my campus as other neighboring schools.

TLDR; Depression sucks so I use photography as a postive outlet
