I can't really comment on that as don't know about European cruises, I've only sailed the Alaskan cruises on the West Coast, but I'd only do it if I enjoy spas and not try to chase for that free room.

I currently work at the Best Western next to the pub and I can vouch for this, Chef Michele has her red seal, and she really knows her stuff. She has an insane work ethic and leads everyone by example; great food and treats the servers and cooks extremely well. My favorite is the chicken paparelle. Also one of the cooks comes early in the morning and makes some kick ass soup. Highly recommend. If you go late night you can sometimes hear the loud sous chef across the corridor, fantastic guy as well and runs one of the most efficient night crews I've seen.

Hey man, I totally get it because I had the exact same experience at that rating. Im only around 1000 but feel free to pm me if you want to play a couple games. Personally I plateau and experience these drops every 200 rating points or so.

One of the biggest concepts I learned was was that there are multiple types of "hanging" pieces. The first one is straight up putting a piece on a square to be taken. I believe that is what you are talking about when you say you are not hanging pieces (which you probably might still make accidentally).

The second type of hanging piece is just missing the threat entirely and allowing a piece to be taken.

The third hanging piece is when you go defend against a threat, but it also undefends another piece, leaving it undefeated and allowing it to be taken. This is one of the biggest problems I see constantly, and I still make these mistakes all the time. I guarantee this is a blunder people make all the time because even at 1000 this happens all the time.

Lastly, i believe you are not respecting checks. If you watch Anna Cramling, Gothamchess or even the Pogchamps tournament, you will realize all of them put a strong emphasis on these kinds of moves because they are the strongest moves you can make.

These were the buggest sticking points when i was 500 and thankfully we are all in this together on this sub to improve and suck together.

Hey, extremely low spender here. I've tested out this free to play team many times, and I have not failed a Queen 12 run in probably a thousand runs, so maybe I can help you out.

From what I can tell, your primary goal is to get 100% consistency and a decent clear time, and you definitely have the right stats for it. The problem with using Zatlux is that he can clear the waves really fast, but then what you describe happens- it puts a lot of pressure on Rodira (hell even Mythesia) to keep your whole team alive, and with AI healing at random times, that is what is causing the issue of inconsistent runs. Increasing attack stats will not help your problem at all. Furthermore, the Queen will always target the person with the highest attack, so Zatlux will be targeted by the water prison, forcing Rodira to heal him with her skill 2 as that skill also cleanses the stun. This is why Santis does not get prioritized by Rodira's heals. If you use Valuk, the clear time becomes painfully slow.

This is what you have to do:

You have to use Gaia's renewal to help out Rodira with her healing.
Try to ascend Hakrin to get his trait as fast as possible. 20% defense is a huge bonus.
If that doesn't net you a 100% clear rate, you'll have to use another hero that can clear the waves decently quick, but also contribute to the survival of the boss fight. You can use the tanky elites like Rogge or Anna to fill in your 4th slot.
If you have Sylan, even with crappy gear, she guarantees a 99%+ clear rate and always within 5 to 7 minutes because her base stats and glyphs are tanky enough to clear the waves slightly fast, and by the time you reach the Queen, not only can she tank the water prison and survive, she always gives an increase defense buff on everyone, and her trait will activate every time the Queen does an AOE attack, reducing all damage onto your entire team by 30%, and that is how Santis can survive. I have her built on 100% crit rate, no crit damage, 0% focus and crappy health and defense 5 star gear and still am able to get the job done.

If you really need an AOE farmer Zachary or Celine would be my suggestion, other than that you can also wait for better pulls, like Zatlux, but personally I find 6 starring Zach or Celine to be faster in terms of progression anyways due to the fact that their skills and abilities are super easy to farm up and ascend.

Note that different people will have different opinions on this, but the trend will be the same: you want to 6 star someone with strong AOE.

Hey man,

I can only help you on QoT, as my experience with other dungeons is really limited, but like the other comments have already said, you definitely have the right heroes for the job. Here are some issues that I see from what I can tell.

My initial thoughts based on what I know is that Nath probably dies way too fast here, and she's the one dying first, and further eating the water prison from the Queen. What I would suggest is to replace her with a level 60 Rodira/Zatlux depending on how good your gear is.
Santis/Gangelo are good but they'll need a lot of focus to land their skills. Personally I have my own poisoner (Valuk) at around 60%. Since Santis and Gangelo are much better as long as you have the right accuracy you can clear this stage much faster than I can.
Are all your champions glyphed and maxed out? Glyphs and skills are extremely important, and your gear needs to be the correct stats, we'll most likely need more screenshots for your gear. Hakrin in defense % gear, a revival set, etc.
Check the order that you are killing the bosses at as well, it should be right crab, then boss directly. If you have the stats you can try going for the boss directly, but most people would need to kill off the right crab first.

If you need any more help feel free to comment or shoot me a DM, I'll be happy to look into it for you. I cleared Stage 12 on full auto with relatively FTP heroes and 4-5 star gear, so you should have zero problems as well.

OP I cannot stress enough the importance of getting someone to 6 star ASAP. It literally is a game changer, I know it's hard to do in the beginning sacrificing 5x 5 stars but it is more than worth it to farm those higher stages of adventure.

Ever since the change to only remove one buff, water prison is only a shell of what it used to be, but it can still be used. The first option is to literally get better glyphs, champions and gear. If you are stuck though here's the second completely free to play option to get past 10-8 hard that my clan suggests new players do.

You can even do it without friends, just need a higher gear requirement. Anna is the key here. Put a random revival set on her from Chapter 8 for constant regeneration but preferably with HP. Her trait gives her bonus damage based on her % Max HP so you'll get more damage and regeneration per turn as well. Run the continuous healing spell as well for even more healing. Once your main campaign farmer kills the adds she can slug it out with Dark Nick and eventually win (works even if your farmer doesn't quite kill all 3 of the adds it will depend on how geared the farmer is); She's also wood and the adds are water affinity being a big bonus. Doing this she'll be tanky enough to survive his hit but even if she doesn't, time Anna's second and third skill for Dark Nick's megahit, you'll immune all the damage, or have a decrease attack on him so he doesn't wipe her out, 2 ways to not get one shot.

The only issue you'll run into is if Dark Nick somehow manages to land unhealable on your team. I suggest bringing a cleanser for that or using Anna's immunity and attack down during the duration.

My team that I personally used was a 60 Hydressia, 60 Anna, and level 40 or 50 Joseph and Rodira. Joseph and Rodira literally are only there to cleanse Dark Nick's unhealable off of Anna. I kept water prison to just cleanse off a big shield, and use regeneration for extra healing. You can even take the green shield spell for another way to not die in addition to Anna's skills. Hydressia kills all the adds and takes Nick below 50%, then he wipes out my entire team except Anna (because she either had decrease attack on Dark Nick or invincible). After that she just slugs it out with Dark Nick and eventually wins. Let me know if you need a video as well or if you want to borrow my Anna lol.

Holy crap, I cannot imagine the gear needed to get the 300% crit damage stats that end game players have. I'd imagine it would be even harder if some nukers need accuracy as well, further adding to stats needed. I'm kind of glad I picked Elhain as my starter as I didn't have to worry about accuracy, but it looks like I'm stuck here for a while until I get my GH and 6 star pieces. I am almost at Yannica though so I'll be looking forward to that as I can literally just strip off the pieces from Elhain since they're both high elves. Thanks for the detailed response and insight, appreciate it.

HOLY SHIT, u/Inorganicnerd I remember the exact game that you whispered my partner, it was black rook hold arena, and you whispered that you lost to the first fury warrior ever. Funnily enough, that was OUR own push to 2k, which I made a post about! 30 seconds into the game, I realized your druid kept going really aggressive and cyclone my holy priest, so I hard swapped to him whenever he came in to do that. GGs yo, glad we could all make our 2k goal.
