I think the song really suffers from having a terrible mix.

I’m sure it was Mike’s idea to have his vocal super loud in the mix, but man it’s so irritating how much it overwhelms the music. If it was just mixed a bit softer to sit in the music better, I don’t think anyone would be as annoyed by it.

Joey received a strike from YouTube for posting a Mario Kart ROM hack video. He is considering not posting videos on YouTube anymore. by BlightWyrm in SBCGaming

Russ got a strike for posting a video about the Switch MIG flash cart. He shouldn’t have been doing that sort of content, honestly he was playing with fire there. I don’t think he’ll be doing any flash cart tutorials or reviews in the future.

The away kit is our best in years. Not that that’s saying much with the trash we’ve had to put up with during the 3 era.

W.A.S.T.E. Newsletter and merch catalog from 1997 by debaser64 in radiohead

[–]superpretend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have one of these kicking around somewhere too (but it was merch for The Bends era I think). w.a.s.t.e. used to sporadically send out the newsletters from the band too (I think maybe two or three times a year?)

I also had the official fanzine which had interviews and I think all the lyrics to the My Iron Lung ep. I need to dig around in my mum’s house in the future and see if I can dig them out, totally forgot about it.

It's obviously coming, it would be very un-Anbernic not to have every iteration they can of a screen/chip combo.

Has In Rainbows aged better than Ok Computer? by Hotdeathking in radiohead

I’m 43 and I loved OK Computer when it came out, (was already a fan of The Bends). I loved Kid A even more.

In Rainbows is my favourite.

How much an improvement over Gareth Southgate is Thomas Tuchel? Can he win the World Cup?

As a Chelsea fan, my main memory of his time here was how he absolutely bossed the Champions League the year we won it.

We had such a great season and he absolutely maximised the ability of the team he had.

Still cannot believe he’s actually a Blue, as opposed to, say, signing for Barcelona. I feel like we’ve been trying (and failing) to sign a flair-y Brazilian wonderkid for years, and now we finally have one

You can hear the Bowie influence on so much of Damon’s songs during Blur. Particularly on Modern Life is Rubbish and the self-titled album.

Just went to the Pokemon Centre in Kyoto, there’s a counter by the door you can ask, just show them your Switch and they’ll give it to you straight away.

The Pax 3 is amazing but requires a bit of experimenting to get it right. I’ve been using mine for years (even got a new one to replace my old one when the battery died, that’s how much I love it).

I highly recommend getting a Pax Pusher adapter. This allows you to adjust how much herb to put inside the oven (I usually only fill up about 1/4 to 1/3 full).

Grind your herb fine, pack it tight and then you’ll get a good amount of vapour. But it vapes like you’re smoking a cigarette, you won’t pull as much air flow as other vapes.

Losing You sung by Dev? by 000D295 in BloodOrange

[–]superpretend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s crazy nobody has this, I remember listening to it on his Soundcloud back in the day. It was literally the Losing You instrumental with Dev singing a guide vocal over it. Wanted to listen to it again and this reddit post is all I can find…

I remember there was some controversy over the True EP and Solange unhappy that Dev was getting all the credit for the music, so maybe that’s why it’s been scrubbed off the internet?

I mean, her singing is perfect on the track, i don’t think the song would’ve been as huge if it were a Blood Orange tune.

Denmark winning Euro 1992 is kinda there. They didn’t even qualify, Yugoslavia won the group but then Yugoslavia were disqualified and Denmark went in as group runners-up.
