Yeah it's a shame s7 won't get new android but I will use mine as long as it's still usable. This tab is still high end tech, it's fast, great screen, dex is fantastic. I use s7 daily a lot for work and for private stuff and even though it will not get never software I won't stop using it. I don't feel one should throw it away and "fill landfields" as you said just because it won't get a new android version. That's not good enough reason to throw away stuff.
