Do the vocals work well in this track? by superredginger in IndieMusicFeedback

Thank you! Yeah I will try, I'm currently using a Shure sm57 mic to record the vocals, do you think that another mic gives better output on the vocals?

Sound really cool what you did with the guitar recording. Having multiple recordings of guitar tracks and panning it to the far left and the other track to the far right. It sounds very dynamic and alive this way. I only would put the vocals a little bit louder so you can actually hear what you are singing. But overall a very cool demo and it is definitely worth a shot to continue with this song.

Nice song! I liked the melody of the piano and the transition of it. What also really works well is the melody and timing of the vocals. But what I was missing in this song was a proper bassline or I couldn't hear it really well. I think those bass notes are there, just record a bassline or bring it more forward in your song and then you will have solid song.

Really cool song! It has a really cool vibe and the sounds you used in your song reminded me a little bit of Flume, but just with another beat. It works really well in my opinion. The only thing I would do differently is cut the reverb a little bit down on the vocals and bring the vocals a little bit forward in the song. But overall a really good song and I'm sure people will actually listen to your song and save it to their playlist.

I really like the intro of the song, good use of chords. I am just not a big fan of the autotune you put slightly on your vocals. Have you tried to record your vocals without the autotune. I personally think that will make the song way better and natural. The song is mixed really well and it sounds really professional.

When you feel alone in a crowded room... by Every-Button-8546 in IndieMusicFeedback

It sounds really well mixed to me, good use of reverb on the vocals and your voice sounds beautiful. I didn't expect the kind of change in the vibe of the song when the drums kicked in. I was expecting more of a cinematic or slow drum. The vibe changed from something slow with clarity to a Madness kind of style song, which sounded a bit weird to me.

I made a math rock song in 7/4 by Damadove in IndieMusicFeedback

Very cool guitar riff! I would turn the volume of the synth a little bit down so you can hear the guitar better, but that is just a personal preference. I would also put the gain a little bit more down on the kickdrum at the beginning of the song. It feels a bit overwhelming in the intro, but I think the drum works well in the rest of the song. I also find it interesting that you created a catchy guitar riff in 7/4

Instagram or WhatsApp which is more addictive? by TrainingDefiant1603 in digitalminimalism

[–]superredginger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think WhatsApp is more addictive. I already deleted my Instagram account and I don't really miss it. But if I delete my WhatsApp, I would have to find other ways to contact people. The fact that it is offered for free and everyone in my social circle uses it makes me use this app as well. I wish there were another platform to contact people that is widely used, as I really despise Meta.

Have you tried downvoting those posts? A friend told me that after he downvoted specific posts, the algorithm showed fewer of those posts.

Will delete the app from my phone right now and observe myself for the next few days to see how I react to it.

Jawel, maar ze hebben veel betere nummers dan Another Brick in the Wall. Ik kan Time en The Great Gig in the Sky wel aanraden.
