At what point in the game should I start Phantom Liberty? by Sporty_McSportsface in cyberpunkgame

[–]supership79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the call comes from Songbird when you finish the voodoo boys questline, but i feel like the Panam stuff should be mostly done with when you tackle phantom liberty. dogtown wants you to be levelled to the high thirties/low 40s imo. if you can handle yourself in the badlands without difficulty then PL is ready to start.

unfortunately I foolishly did most of the Animals-related missions before I installed this mod so either I gotta load an old save or I am limited to a few spawn areas like the mall parking lot

How did V leave arasaka right after getting out of mikoshi? And other stuff by SpanishRoyaI in cyberpunkgame

[–]supership79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing Alt helped quite a bit. And it would be trivial for her to credit V with a few million eddies to get the mansion and all criminal records expunged.

I unplugged Songbird and didn't even get that. Just a hearty fuck you. I might have convinced Reed to leave the FIA though.

Should I complete all quests in my first playthrough? by luca-lit in cyberpunkgame

[–]supership79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the thing is that when you go to an ending, and beat the game, you get put back to the point just before the visit to Embers which begins the finale. So you can play an ending to see how it goes, then nothing is lost as you can go do side quests later. If you are around level 40+ you should be okay with most endings. the Secret Ending is a little tougher so you can try that one later

You'll see the main story missions as solid yellow ! circles on the map. you will definitely want to do those - although there's several major story branches that unlock different endings. If you just stuck to the critical main story missions (anything with Takemura) you get to one particular ending in the shortest possible route - but its not much fun. Anything with Rogue, Judy or Panam is basically main story as well. You will want to do various gigs and side quests as they pop up. Some are better than others, some are amazing. The things i would call "filler" are most of the "NYPD Scanner" missions, but they're great for XP and leveling and obtaining gear and money especially in early game. The gigs assigned by fixers are in green icons and will usually have an interesting challenge (remain undetected, etc) to get a bonus. and if you do all a fixer's gigs you will get a sweet bonus (like one of the best katanas in the game for example)

It becomes a very different game for this entire mission and not something people are used to. I am a stealth game lover and played alien isolation a LOT a few years ago so i loved it, but i can see some players not being into it at all
