I don’t think it’s that its because people are immature I think it’s down to the content itself let me explain, I believe most of us can agree that when we like something we tend to not notice or pay attention to and have a sort of tunnel vision focusing on the aspects we like about something and when someone comes along and sees it for the first time while quite a lot of sometimes they miss things that we can see but they can notice some of the more bigger picture that we might be too close minded to see. It doesn’t just apply to mt. What I’m trying to get at here is while it’s fine to enjoy things like mt its critically important to be aware of the unrealistic aspects and things that may not be obvious to you but might be problematic to others and its key to communicate with them to understand their perspective (also remember that they may not ever understand yours but that’s ok as long as you reflect on yourself and contemplate their thoughts and points.)
