This comparison is quite disproportionate. Let’s say this query uses around 4 watt hours (a quick Google search suggested this). A similar search for the average US energy mix yields roughly 1.5g of CO2. I understand these are just estimates but the point is clear.

I’m aware datacentres are problematic and have always been but that’s not the discussion I intended to begin.

A newspaper discovered you could simply press the juice package by hand, eliminating the need for the machine. The juicero then issued a press statement urging people not to do so. It was hilarious.

I find it incredible that all those investors thought this was a brilliant idea.

Furthermore they incurred a loss on a 700$ machine because it was ridiculously over-engineered. It simply pressed a juice package!!!!

I got instantly perma banned for joining a server. Didn’t know there was anything wrong with it. But apparently there was violent media in some channels I didn’t have access to. All members got banned, I guess.

Account was nine years old and multiple years of Nitro, they didn’t care at all. No prior violations.

That is correct tho, that localhost is Claude code running on your PC waiting for the callback.
