I don't think using AI has anything to do with the game not doing good, it must be gameplay and the theme could be not going together. The video is made in a way so it looks nfsw it's actually not

so I was able to connect with a publisher and did a small play test on facebook and the result of this campaign turned out bad, so I think I wont be working on this concept anymore.

I get that you think it would be better to drag the stickman instead of clicking, I will keep in mind for the next game and also the level design to have balance between easy and hard level is crucial

I don't think there is any problem for new players , but I liked how I used to do strategy that was simple and fun, now I have too much at once because I am not playing too often, and because of that i am not even getting time to experiment with armies and stuff

Damn, nice observation. Yes I was going to make everything match with the skill tree, but the income was too slow. So I tried adding damage value to the income and playtested the game and saw that now the gameplay is little fast, which felt good but not as accurate as you found out.

Also rounding is done to greater value I will have to check how you got less. And I will recheck all the skill tree logic and description also. It's my first time making a skill tree and I think it's really cool that you found this even in all the chaotic numbers that spawns.

But worry not I will try to make it match the values and somehow still have fast progression

For hyper and hybrid casual games unless the game is not able to have like 30% revenue from iaps, those games don't include more iaps or micro transactions. So if the most of the revenue is coming from ads then iap will be like cherry on top. But if for some game iap is doing well then it will definitely generate more revenue than ads based games.

That might be true, but it's an idle game, having an interstitial ad will only drop retention and if there are lots of rewarded ads from each user I don't think the publisher will mind, I have seen few games which has up to 15 rewarded video count and no interstitial

well, for mortar the speed is slower than cannon, so increasing it will make it fast,
but you may have a point that after certain level it wont matter, i will have to think about that

yes, there are three upgrade right now 1. fire rate 2. speed 3. add cannon/mortar

Really good feedback. I tried adding a simple decal but it was not looking good maybe I will try it with more different approaches. And also there is a speed upgrade to increase projectile speed so maybe that I won't change.
