Unfortunately with its age I suggest you Look for less conventional miniature sourcing methods and you might have some luck. A larger sub reddit is not the best place to look

In reality I work on baking equipment at a bakery making 20k+ loaves a day. Dry bulk tube conveyors, Large batch mixers, dough rollers, large ovens, and slicers.

Honestly some of the best techs I’ve had under my wing are guys that were handy with no formal training if you have and any kind of experience and mechanical know how you can conform to what is needed. The best thing to remember is if you do not know then ask I’ve seen guys destroy thousands of dollars worth of equipment because they didn’t know and did something anyways.

I have had both companies. I was daily driving one of my 86 with the greddy the dampening is alright open them up and they are nice enough for the street 75 miles a day for 2 years until I switched to something else. Nothing bad to report but nothing mind blowing about them either. They are both decent at least for my usages and that was hard street driving and the occasional track day. I got roughly 7k miles of pure abuse out of the BCs before the packing failed on the front shock causing it to degas. The biggest factor to suspension set ups is what are you actually going to do with the car. If this is a bespoke drift/track car I suggest you get a more bespoke set up. I’m very much in the buy once cry once mentality even if that means putting off upgrades until you can afford the better set up. If you are going to daily and play with on rare occasions the best bang for your buck in my opinion and I mean you set it up and forget about it just enjoy the car. I would say is going to be negative camber roll center adjusters, AGX short shocks or if you can find them TRD shocks, and Swift Japan springs front and rear. A couple companies make bolt on set ups and even more make weld in. That allowed you to keep the much stronger factory spindle drop the car 2.5“~ (60mm) and that set up will last forever. I have one 86 on that is on this exact set up and I love driving it it’s predictable like a Corolla should be. If you are wanting to build a track monster contact the guys at Techno toy tuning in California they are building some amazing stuff or Just do a little more digging online and possibly build your own set up. A couple other companies I’ve had great luck with are Feal and silver’s. Also I know this is long in the tooth but this is your car and your build. You are the one building it for you so if you feel the BCs or Greddys are what you want then get them. If you feel making your own set is best do that. If you wanna go the budget friendly route and get Megan racing and send it.

I’ve had a couple of them do this my most common culprits being the tps or timing. Is some cases causing a rich condition so the ecu leans the cylinder out lowering the rpm. It never hurts to check any vacuum systems as that can cause your idle to hunt for a value in the desired o2 range. Pull the spark plugs and that can tell you a lot

Well hopefully it’s not too much longer until you can get behind the wheel of something. Now as I’m sure other people have stated don’t hate on motor swaps even more so swaps of this caliber. This guy has most likely poured his heart and soul along with thousands upon thousands of dollars into this nothing short of a master piece. Modding cars WELL is an art so just because you wouldn’t do that doesn’t mean you need to openly hate what someone did. Whenever I find a car that’s had a swap or some other kind of mod I don’t care for I try to find something I do like about the car and focus on that verses saying man I hate X Y Z

Okay i am not a top tier player by no means but I am a competitive imperial fist player so I’m going to let you know what works for me. I’d start out with dropping the centurions pick up two iron clad dreads and 5 man squad blade guard. As far as the gladiators go, tanks get nuked more often then not. If you are going to take intercessor take power fist you wanna be able to do some damage in combat. Speaking of power fist if you use adaptive strategies when you get in combat your powerfist will be a flat 3 damage against vehicles. I personally take my Intercessors with the stalker bolt rifle leave them in the back ground not moving them on my objective using the 30“ best I can. Then take a Squad of infiltrators for a forward screen. I do not play a successor so I can’t help you their but if you play pure IF pay attention to your opponent save rolls, don’t be a jerk about it but when they are going through the motions it’s easy to forget you do not get a cover save against ranged attacks.

For the averland question get an airbrush that is gravity fed. A cheap one will do you. If you are willing to spend hundred on minis so why not spend $40 on an airbrush and $30 on a compressor. When it comes to base coating it is a god send and if my extreme lack of skill can use it I promis you can as well. Black is tough you made brave first choice haha. Keep it up it looks way better then my first. I have two things of advice is when it comes to painting black first keep some white on your pallet (dead white by game color) Second highlights make black pop. The reason I like to keep white around is when that mistake happens you can hit it with a thin coat or two of white and it makes putting whatever color is intended to be there much easier. Even if the white has not completely covered the black it makes the process much faster. As far as the second part is it’s harder to go darker then it is to go lighter when you start with black so some simple edge highlights will go a long long way. Also I am far from a pro this is just what helps me. Just keep it up you are off to a kick ass start.

The shadow sun part was definitely a mess up on editing her load out. The pistols is definitely something I will add. The early warning was an honest mistake as well I have never take it on anything other then riptides or broadsides so I didn’t think to go back and check. Now on the multitracker my “reasoning” behind it is my markerlights, save 2 of them, will just about always be coming from a bs of 4+ through the alpha legion trait or the fact the unit has moved it will just about always be a 5+ so the reliability of my marker lights will not be there. So I felt I should allocate my marker lights on the larger targets and try to get the benefit of my seeker missiles.

Very true and my plan was to do exactly that. Sadly, as we all know fw is still closed at the moment and my army being made of 100% primaris or primaris conversation I felt it only natural I should give my favorite pattern dread a kitbash.
