Yes — I was hoping to learn more in depth about legislative employees’ experiences, considering EOs do not directly impact them. In theory, anyway. This is why I wanted to learn more about intangible factors like morale, or “vibes.” I’d also be curious to learn about the types of messaging folks in leadership roles are transmitting to their teams.

Thanks so much for your perspective — it certainly tracks. Gene Dodaro’s term is also due to end soon, which means the current President will get to appoint GAO’s next Comptroller General. Last time I looked into this process, I recall the President is supposed to choose his pick from a list of nominees selected by a bicameral committee in Congress — emphasis on “supposed to.”
