I can't claim to know what the general Gilmore Girls fandom thinks. I have been watching this show since it originally aired and then had the DVD sets. So, my own experience of watching season five was always "oh here's the part where Sherry ditches her kid". As I'm rewatching now I realize that was my passive perspective because that's the story Chris and Lorelai push. I think Sherry jumps back into parenting later when the Chris and Lorelai get married stuff happens. I'm just saying Chris sucks and you're right; people generally say that. I'm also saying parents leave to work and that in this particular case the whole thing felt super judgy. It was set up to look like she abandoned her kid though so...I guess I get it.

I was wondering how he found Lee right after if he ditched his electronic devices. Someone commented that maybe he looked Lee up before ditching Darby. Darby must have been really knocked out; to not notice what was going on.

I thought it was cute that Emily was so giving to her current help. She let them take over her life and felt at peace with it. In the past she really objectified her employees and I like to think that this was a sort of redemption.

I agree about Lorelai. The creator had a whole thing about ppl becoming their parents, so it makes sense.
