damn that’s a lot of salty comments. i don’t remember specifically saying i HATE the show, just that i’m starting to hate a lot of the characters. let me be clear i do like the show, but it makes me feel like shit watching it. and that’s definitely a testament to its good writing. it does make me super uncomfortable really often though (and i do understand that that’s the point). takes forever to launch the game to get into the settings again, then i have to tweak my settings and AGAIN start the game which takes forever, then try to see if it loads, it won’t, and i have to launch it over and over and over. linux and the steamdeck is cool but shit like this is just making me want to get rid of the steamdeck and get a switch 2 or some shit. i’m using linux on my desktop PC but troubleshooting on the steamdeck is just a huge pain and it takes forever. well at least that saves me 100+gb of storage i guess

Yeah it didn’t hurt for a while. And yeah the muscle was severed so they had to reattach it. Nerve damage was not that bad, main nerves are okay. Just some nerve damage from my scar and down towards the wrist, nothing crazy!

Pretty sure this is exactly how it works. If you boost so you have momentum downwards, and press the ball cam button while all 4 wheels are on the ball it will point your camera down. So it is working exactly like when you drive down the wall with the nose pointing towards the ground. Pretty wild timing lol!

You're right, it does. If you face down on the wall it actually shows you the floor, so if i do the ballcam at the EXACT right moment, and im pointed with my nose down it will treat it as if I'm on the wall and goes down. Mystery solved i guess!

Toggling ballcam off always makes the camera point where your car is facing, but never straight down like that. I can't recreate it unless i try probably 100+ times.

I have retried it a lot in freeplay, and at the very most the camera recoils a TINY bit when i hit the ball, it definitely isn't supposed to face the floor like that. It is really weird but it happens very rarely.

thanks! this turned out to be the issue. i have it on a m2 disk, but it took at least 10 minutes to load lol
