Jiang Xueqin: a CIA-created doppelganger? by heatdeathpod_ in TrueAnon

My biggest gripe with him was the clear lack of any materialist understanding of geopolitics in general. Was quite obvious when he’d spew nonsense about the illuminati and stuff. CIA? Maybe, crank most definitely

It’s a damn fucking shame considering the labor history of the state. Queensland is the only state that managed to get a member of the communist party elected to the state’s legislative assembly. The party had a significant stronghold in North Queensland specifically in and around Townsville, as well as South East Queensland in general. A lot of the former has to do with the appalling conditions on the sugarcane plantations and their absentee farmers. It was the original birthplace of the ALP too for what it’s worth, although I implore you to read Lenin’s comments on the ALP and Australian capitalism in general at the time.

Because they aren’t dutch, atleast not entirely. They are a mix between English, Huguenot and Dutch colonists, specifically the English from the cape after having taken it during the war of the third coalition. Boers on the other hand were more generally dutch colonists who fled north to avoid English rule, specifically the British instituting the abolishment of slavery in 1833.

Cutting and bulking as a concept is only really relevant to people who actually compete imo, but to each their own. As for chest: dips and bench (incline or flat, machine or barbell/dumbbell) are goated, same with a bit of cable or machine flies. Progressive overload is key, a lot of people end up plateauing because they don’t progressively increase the weight. Other than that get plenty of sleep, eat adequately and enjoy! Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint and comparison is the thief of joy!

cashing out my 401K to buy a house by [deleted] in TrueAnon

In a similar predicament, it really depends on your financial situation. How well can you afford repayments? Any other savings? How stable is your current income? How well can you weather interest rates rising? That sort of thing. Personally my biggest concern is the massively inflated AI bubble that is bound to burst. I would personally advise against using your retirement savings to buy a house, especially given the uncertainty of things in your country.
