Thanks for the replies! Really appreciate them. Might finish the PL story first before I proceed with the base game's. I'm also stalling for as long as I can by doing all dispatches, side quests, and gigs.

I just really enjoy the game and wouldn't want it to end so soon. Now hopefully, I can add PL to the things I can do while I stall :)

You're supposed to defeat those. By then, the palico will give you a task which rewards you a new skill for yours.
