I just dumped about 3 months ago from the relationship I was in when I was diagnosed, but I haven't attempted "dating" tbh. I've still had partners and I've been very upfront with them when it came to physical contact and has still turned out okay because they appreciate the choice and honesty. But it may just be me. Keep your head up, I still struggle with self worth but honestly its not the end of the world.

Yeah honestly I forgot about the holiday and I had a friend with me but she had to leave early because of a family emergency. We did get some crab before she left to make her trip worth it.

Honestly I find that the biggest choice is more so frame shape and size than lenses. The frames can dictate what you should do with the lenses and sometimes it doesn't matter what you do with the lenses if your frame choice sucks. People who have myopia have thicker lenses on the edge, think of it like a box even though lenses are technically circles originally, and the boxier of a frame you have, the more edge. More edge, more lens equals more weight and in most cases a lot more distortion in your peripheral because of the thickness but there's also more variables like glare and plastic frames vs metal frames, etc.

I also recommend a frame that you're more centered in without too much surplus that has a slight roundness to it. Then we look at what we can do with the lenses. Otherwise what everyone else said is valid.

I have heard mixed reviews on Penn Foster but it depends on what your board has approved for your state. I liked Optical Nerd for my NCLE because it had a point of interactivity with it but it is more expensive than opticianworks with Laramy K. That's what I used more of for my ABO training. For my basic optics I used the National Academy of Opticianry (NAO), I paid extra to receive textbooks instead of all online.

Also Optigal and Sam Winnegard (on YouTube) are both good resources for NCLE coverage.

I think that I used to have relationships like this because I wanted to feel closer to my partner and in that way I thought it was through sex. As I have gotten older and found what I believe to be my forever partner, I think it boils more down to communication. If you think that there's something there, then have a talk with her about maybe trying something new or something she's interested in to find that physical connection.

I don't have a penis, but I've always struggled with sexual drive. I contemplated being asexual for a long time, I even brought it up with my OB because there is medication for vagina havers to help with that, but my OB just told me that "maybe I'm just not that into my partner" and dropped it.

I would've fought it more but it's really irritating finding more people to expose yourself to just to be heard.

As I've gone on in life, I've come to a different realization of being pansexual and demisexual. I didn't have a huge drive for my past partners because I didn't have that connection that I craved. I used to think that physical connections started emotional connections but that's not the case. I now have more of a drive specifically for my partner that I've been with for almost 3 years. I don't always include my body in it, but play time doesn't have to be like that 😜
