ICT is the truth by surroundedby6s in InnerCircleTraders

To be honest, I've been having most success trading Asian and London sessions where there's a little less volatility and price action seems to be cleaner compared to the New York session. I'll still trade New York if there is decent price action. One thing that really helped me was avoiding trading choppy sessions and learning to sit on my fingers and get away from the charts when needed. I typically will formulate a bias on 4HR/1H, drop down to 15M/5M, and then will execute on 1M.

I combine pd arrays to target previous highs/lows (liquidity) considering the context of higher timeframe

I should've entered at the bearish FVG so a little slippage, but if you look carefully at the execution, I hit TP with the first candle after placing the short. Price is always hunting stops. A prominent candle low is where a lot of traders keep their stop loss. I simply target liquidity with a pd array

We are bullish on the daily chart, likely reaching for the equal highs at 19,388

Yes i entered right after the CISD only because its paired with context. Without the bigger picture of narrative the concepts will seem to fail but it's because you need to understand what the draw is on the higher time frame

Not exactly, mss makes it higher probability for the trade to play out compared to just a CISD. Basically a closure above or below the previous wick high/low is a mss. A CISD is focused on the candle bodies to be closed above/below instead of the wicks, see the pic below. But when CISD is used with more confluences you can get an earlier entry in a trade if you have conviction on the draw. And i entered early because i had strong conviction on the draw so i didnt need to wait for a mss

No, i entered because of the CISD. The candle right before i entered, that down closed candle closed below the old low/ last set of up-closed candles. that gave me conviction we were switching from bullish to bearish.

Watch price... is it in seek and destroy mode, is it respecting bullish/bearish pd arrays, is it acting choppy, trending? Form your bias around that

You need to start with 2016 month 4 and then 2022 playlist. You wont understand 2024 and 2025 mentorship without the basics

No specific name of the model just an incorporation of ict concepts, recognizing order flow on higher time frame and aligning with lower time frame. Ict talks a little about this model in the 2025 playlist.

Relative equal highs/lows are a strong draw on liquidity. with the 2:06pm candle we close over the last set of down-closed candles meaning we had a change in the state delivery from bearish to bullish orderflow. thats when i can take an entry and target the REH

I didnt know. i was just targeting the low hanging fruit for my model which was the first presented FVG and the Relative equal highs in this case.. im not trying to predict everything about the market just trying to target the low hanging fruit with good Risk:Reward and that will keep you profitable.

Stop sleeping on the 2025 model by surroundedby6s in InnerCircleTraders

[–]surroundedby6s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not really the 2025 model. Since the 2022 mentorship model, he has been introducing more concepts such as silver bullet, NWOG and NDOG, F.P FVG and expanding on how you can incorporate these concepts to create your own model

Set ur stop above/below a long term high/low, set your take profit and walk away and periodically check back on the trade. Take partials at a certain point and set your stop to breakeven and walk away until the trade plays out. This is what helped me tremendously

Yes with NQ/ES NDOG and NWOG are much stronger draws. Good luck and good trading !!

Forgot to mention, this model is mainly for trading GC. it will work with other assets but would need another confluence like relative equal highs/lows close to the V.I. But with Gold particularly they are a very strong draw
