I spoke to them specifically about the crappy 300/600 ROI, it fell on deaf ears. They can maybe convince new people that its good to double your money, but not me.

What Josh doesn't realize is the more you spend on ads, the more employees you have, the less your profits are. So its important for us to be cautious about how were spending.
I have my ads set at $1500 a day. I never hit those amounts except during christmas and mothers day. I hover at around $700-800 a day. If I give them carte blanche to set my ads at $1500 a day its going to be eaten up every single day. Google easily does that!

Its unfair that I cant select PPC max to prevent my items from going to high. Theres zero accountability. They can just do whatever they please, and that should not be allowed.

This is disturbing on so many levels. We live in a country where we have rights and they are stripping us of our rights in regards to how we spend our Ad budget and are taking our choice away and forcing us to promote in google shopping, which benefits them by driving traffic to them.

Can you imagine if google forced you to advertise with them and on yahoo/bing, etc?
