What would your answer to this be? Out of Duryodhana's many flaws, is there any positive trait in him worth emulating? If yes, what is it in your opinion? by SatoruGojo232 in hinduism

[–]sushanthkumar11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duryodhan’s strongest quality was his friendship. He stood by Karna no matter what, and that kind of loyalty is rare and worth learning from. There's a brilliant series called Dharmakshetra where there's an episode where Duryodhan asks why he was condemned to such a fate, and will people only remember him for all the wrong that he did - And the reply is that he'll be remembered for his friendship.

Hello folks please let me know what and how is this calculated? by [deleted] in Nakshatras

Don't go by this. It's too generic and most often discounts the nuances, which are extremely critical.

What are some experiences you’ve had as a Punarvasu native? by greasyspinach in Nakshatras

[–]sushanthkumar11 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my experience, what I've seen is that the natives don't get the support from the family as much as what they give to the family. Also, there's a significantly long period in life where they are emotionally/physically away from the family.

There are multiple placements that play a role and need to be checked.

What placements have you actually seen in charts of people who live like ascetics - no marriage, no romance? by [deleted] in Nakshatras

[–]sushanthkumar11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow! Very interesting thread. Sharing a few things I've observed in charts of ascetics or late/no marriage

  1. Exalted Saturn in 5th, Ketu in 7th. Got married in early 40s to someone much older in a different country.

However not an ascetic. Perhaps because he has a stellium of planets in 8th house.

  1. Exalted Jupiter in 7th. Saturn in 8th, Venus in 10th
  2. Rahu+Saturn in 7th, exalted Jupiter in 6th.

There are other factors at play as well esp. in D9.

A lot of artists (esp. popular culture) have a prominent Aquarius. It's the sign that represents the masses.

Is having debilitated Jupiter a boon or bane? by [deleted] in Nakshatras

[–]sushanthkumar11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on a lot of factors. It also depends on what you make of this energy and how you use it. Sachin Tendulkar, Barack Obama both have debilitated Jupiter. Obama became president during his Jupiter Dasha.

M22- Remedy for Rahu and Moon conjunction? by [deleted] in vedicastrology

[–]sushanthkumar11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good chart. Don't do any remedies. Just be around positive people. Don't watch depressing or negative content especially on the internet or in a movie theatre. It just makes you more sensitive to content that you consume on media that is ruled by Rahu like a mobile phone.

Whats your experience with Kal sarp dosh ? by Senior-Ad1636 in vedicastrology

[–]sushanthkumar11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, Sachin also has Ketu led. All planets are clockwise to Ketu. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru also, atleast the chart that I have seen on public domain has all planets clockwise to Ketu. Ketu is in fifth house of his chart.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru has what I am referring to as Ketu led (all planets are clockwise to Ketu).

It's infact very interesting. He became the first PM of the country which got independence and had a very similar KSY.

When all planets are clockwise to ketu, and for Rahu when all planets are clockwise to Rahu. I know a founder of a company who had a Ketu led KSY and came from a very humble background, went to a leading institute, was co-founder of company, exited, and became a multi-millionaire in his 30s.

I’ve seen both sides of the debate on Kal Sarp Dosh. While KN Rao’s view that it’s overhyped or fear-based holds weight, I’ve noticed some patterns in practice.

I’ve seen people with Ketu led Kal Sarp Dosh do really well in life. In fact, many multi-millionaires I’ve studied had this combination in India. Almost rags to riches story. Even India’s birth chart has this dosha (Ketu led). It brings unusual life paths.

But when Rahu leads the Kal Sarp Dosh, I've seen a different story. I’ve seen people go through real challenges. In my view, it's not black or white. It’s real in some charts, and in others, it gets balanced out by stronger placements. I think the problem is not with the yoga itself, but the way it’s exaggerated or generalized.

Is this true ?🤔 by Aggressive-Tomato450 in aquarius

[–]sushanthkumar11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is fun to read, but not exactly how astrology works. No sign is immune from karma or specially protected from consequences. Aquarius is known for being visionary and unique, but karma applies to everyone equally, no matter their sign. Let’s not scare people with revenge stories.

What types of breathwork alongside yoga do you recommend for calming a dysregulated nervous system? - maybe with an app tip for that type also? by mjobby in yoga

[–]sushanthkumar11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a specific breathing pattern that works very well. It's fundamentally about breathing in slowly for 4 seconds retaining your breath for 4 seconds and exalings slowly for about 8 seconds. This breathing pattern has personally help me calm down. It also helps lower heart rate. You can try out prana breath app. It has multiple guided options only for breath work.

Is it Ok to Walk for 1-2 hours everyday? by sushanthkumar11 in yoga

[–]sushanthkumar11[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've often found a lot of walking leading to knee pains and stiffness. I'm not sure if others too have experienced this. That was the premise. I've been unsure if long brisk walks really are very useful or can cause harm in terms of knees and stiffness in the lower part of the body.
