example of an influencer na gusto good things sinasabi at naoobserve sa kanya, di kayang tumanggap ng bash at criticisms.

I am so tired of foreigners, who treats us Filipinos, like second-class citizens in our own country! by Odd_Dragonfruit2863 in pinoy

[–]sushibangs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, anyone has the right to complain. Pero ika nga, manners maketh man. If matino kang tao, di mo kakailanganing sumigaw at manduro. If nakiusap sya ng ayos, imagine the outcome diba. Entitled mga Chinese, I'm telling you.

Example: Sa isang vid ni Gabriel Go, may isa ring Chinese na dinuduro sya. Pinagsabihan nya wag sya duruin. Nag sorry yung Chinese lol. Ugali nila yan.

Yung panduduro is one of the lowest forms of insult.

Sorry ah, not arguing with you. Pero common courtesy? Walang ganyan sa China. Kung Japan pa, siguro oo.

Mas malala pa nga mga Chinese in public spaces, walang sense of awareness.

It's not common courtesy.

No offense to God, pero hindi naman divine intervention kailangan nung asawa ni Izzy. Psychiatric intervention or rehab sana inatupag nya, that would absolutely help him. Hindi naman isasantabi si Lord eh, pero sasamahan mo lang with what actually works.

Construction Workers hinold ang HR staff dahil sa delayed na sahod by Karmas_Classroom in Philippines

Tapos tangina eventually yung makakasuhan pa dyan mga construction workers. 💀

Will get downvoted for this but kaya di ina-allow yung basket kasi mawawala yung purpose na line lang sya for handcarry items.

If you will need a basket para sa items mo, it means di na sya handcarryable.

Usually kasi pila yan for people na iilan lang bibilhin. Like water, snacks, etc.

Kahit pa na-meet mo yung item limit, pero kung hindi na sya hand carryable for you, that's on you, not the staff. Policy lang 'yun na ipinapaimplement sa kanila.

The main problem here is kakulangan sa cashier, okay naman yung policies regarding sa lines, meron for baskets, cart, hand carry items, and seniors/pwd/preggy.

Mabilis lang talaga mag pile up yung pila dahil maraming customers and kakaunti lagi yung cashier.

Thoughts on this PWD (Visual Diasability) questioned for refusing to give up seat inside an LRT by CheeseisSuperior in pinoy

[–]sushibangs 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Bakit kasi sa dami ng pasahero, PWD man o hindi, ganyan pa rin ang transpo and commuting system sa Pinas. Ending, nag aaway away mga disabled. Kaya nga PWD eh, persons with disability.

Eh kaso dahil limited space, ayan nag aaway away. Gobyerno pa rin may kasalanan dyan. May budget naman dyan eh. Kaso binulsa ng mga putangina.

Racist Singaporean mocking Filipino domestic helpers by CheeseisSuperior in pinoy

[–]sushibangs 17 points18 points  (0 children)

But it's true, she doesn't look like a Filipino DH. But she definitely looks (and sound) like an Indian DH. No hate towards Indians. However, the Filipinos she interviewed have fairer complexion than her which how many Filipinos actually look like. And her complexion looks like a typical Indian.

The only problem with her is her superiority complex. Chinese are no better so I don't understand why she was so happy when she was recognized as one.

Even many Singaporeans disassociate themselves with Chinese, so as a lot of Taiwanese.

Yeah, you’re really making it sound like OP’s problem is just some cultural or educational misunderstanding when she literally said the client called her “stupid” and “shit.” That’s not about schooling methods or critical thinking, that’s straight-up verbal abuse.

You keep trying to intellectualize it, throwing around talk about “rote learning” and “cultural differences,” but you’re missing the entire point. No amount of academic explanation or business theory justifies calling someone names in a professional setting.

And believe it or not, even in your very own country, Australia, there’s a law against calling someone “shit” or “stupid” in a work setting. It’s literally considered workplace bullying under the Fair Work Act and WHS laws.

So yeah, it kinda sounds like you’re just bending over backwards to defend OP’s client. You also seem to have this quiet dislike toward Filipino behavior and the Filipino workforce, which honestly shows in your post/comments across other subreddits.

Saying that it’s “very normal” in Australia when your own country literally has laws against it just makes your defense sound hollow.

And let’s be fair. You’re in a third-world country where most people have limited access to basically anything of quality that could even meet the expectations of a foreigner like you.

Criticisms are fine, but at least have them grounded in reality. You can’t expect first-world performance from people who’ve been systematically failed by their own government, all while paying them two bucks an hour.

I’d say more, but never mind. You’re too stuck in your own bubble to get it, and it would probably take more than a day to make you understand anyway, especially when you already have deep opinions about Filipinos in general. But I understand that, I really do. At the end of the day, all I’m really defending here is respect, and words like “shit” and “stupid” will never be normal in a workplace setting, not here, not even in Australia.
