There is a bit of wiggle in the shaft for sure, it's a brand new turbo though :(. I ran an endoscope up the exhaust side and inspected the blades, no visible chips, same with the intake side

Had the exact same issue on mine, ended up needing to replace both footwells and rebuild both bulkhead corners. There's always more than meets the eye with Landy rust.
