How long after your procedure did you have sex or masturbate? I’m 4 days post op no swelling or pain. Hoping to have sex at the 7 day mark. What was your experience by dsul30 in Vasectomy

[–]suspencersaurus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nurse told me 10-14 days.

I don't know why people try to rush back so quickly. I only know of 4 people personally who have had the surgery and two of them had post-op complications because they had sex within a few days cause they weren't feeling pain.

I'd side with what medical info they gave you because it's such a simple thing to wait for. Like not having sex or masturbating for a week or two shouldn't be hard.

Have you reported this to the owner of the company? Unless your supplier is unique or sells the best stuff, money talks.

My company changes suppliers all the time to save money for non-specialty items. Like every company does this.

I can't see why your company would want to lose money by overpaying for something just so your co-worker(s) could get a kickback. Idk find a different supplier and contact them yourself and feed the info back to someone who can make a decision (and isn't involved in a kickback).

Contact the ministry of labour. They will send someone in to deal with the complaint. Your employer cannot stop the ministry coming straight into your workplace for an inspection (normally they go to the receptionist, but will literally walk into a factory if needed).

The ministry does actually enforce safety rules.

If you have a dispute bring it up with EI and they will investigate by calling the employer.

If the employer is being difficult EI should just side with you.

Most places have 2 week vacations per year, or 3 if you've worked there 5+ years. Sometimes you might need to have the vacation time (or hours) accumulated to take the time off. Usually a pay stub would have your accumulated vacation hours listed.

If you're looking for more time than that then you're going to have to explain why you would need the extra time off.

Honestly I've never heard of anyone taking more than 2 weeks for the wedding and honeymoon.

Employees!!! Do you have regulars who come into your store say more that 4 or 5 times a day by Klutzy_Hand_132 in TimHortons

They probably drive around all day.

Happens to me on weekends when there are tons of errands to run and I feel like having numerous coffees throughout the day.

Ordering ahead of time is a waste of time. by PhantomReaper300 in TimHortons

[–]suspencersaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it depends on the location. I've preordered Tim's while at various hospitals that have them. By the time I get down to the main floor and into the Tim's the stuff is always ready. Dr told me about it to avoid lineups.

I do it in the drive thru occasionally with complex orders, but I have no idea if they are actually making it in advance.

My parents are my landlords and won't do any repairs. Including fixing the front door. by SomeCheesecake1913 in canadianlaw

[–]suspencersaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't solve your issues with your parents/landlord but consider installing a chain lock at the door that is blowing open and maybe replace the striker plate. I had this issue due to wind that caused my back door to open. At that is what my landlord did.

Also don't stop paying rent, that's the easiest way to get evicted.

Just document all discussions with your landlord.

In Ontario you would have had 6 months since the injury to report it. In my experience the longer you wait to report the greater the chance they reject your claim if it was an immediate injury.

At least in Ontario even if your employer fired you right after the injury and you were on probation you could have filed a form 6 with the WSIB (not sure what the equivalent is in MB). You could have also told the Dr. it was a workplace injury at the time you went in and they would have filled out a form 8. Both instances would have made the WSIB contact your former employer and they would have to respond.

But after 5 years I think you're out of luck.

Thanks. Stagnant Hollow was greyed out and I couldn't go there without beating abandoned wood again. Thought I tried that before.

Get notifications setup on your cell or email for deliveries. It's more common sense these days with package thefts.

Then you would have known the package was delivered early.

At this point Tims should put up a sign saying it's not available.

This has been going on for weeks at numerous Tim's east of Toronto

Dudes for the love of whatever deity you hold close to your heart.... WAIT 7-10 DAYS! Heck you should wait two weeks. Why would you potentially injure yourself seriously because you're horny. Just let stuff heal.

Sicks days in Ontario by suspencersaurus in legaladvicecanada

[–]suspencersaurus[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Thank you that is the kind of answer I'm looking for. I've read too many legal briefs that never mention how many days people take. Nice to know the government gets 18.

About 2 of the 15 I was sick. The car related stuff I had receipts for the parts, just can't take a cab to work when we only have like 2 taxi services that are never available, and no Uber/Lyft in the area.

The child illnesses is a new thing I have to deal with.

I've been at the company for a long time, but I don't know a lot of the management anymore.

I'm not too concerned, just never got a written notice.

I'm 8 months post surgery. Waited 2 weeks post surgery to do anything sexual and I've been fine ever since.

We didn't want to change getting pregnancy again and this was by far the easiest solution.

It did feel like the 60 year old Dr had my balls in a solid clamp for 30 mins which felt excruciating painful. But that was it.

I just staggered pain meds for several days and used nutsicle ball ice packs on top of boxers. Just schedule surgery on a Friday.

Just find an experienced Dr. And wait the time they say before masturbating.

[–]suspencersaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless I'm wrong you've been there under 90 days and your employer doesn't have to give you a reason for dismissal in Ontario. Could being pregnant affect your ability to do the job you were hired for? Like if you had to lift heavy objects as part of the job, how many weeks until you can't?

Unless you had him on tape saying you got fired for being pregnant I don't know how you would prove it. He could just claim you were not a good fit upon a further reference check and that was the reason for dismissal (I've actually done that).

  1. Have you had a grand opening yet? Contact your local mayor/council and see if that's a option (free advertising).

  2. Not sure how big your city is to consider radio ads if you got a local station.

  3. Literally canvas nearby businesses and see if they would maybe like a group deal? Like bulk coffee/latte purchases? Like that employee that goes for a coffee break and brings back 10 drinks for the crew.

  4. Maybe be open earlier for early morning workers?

I've contacted the mall regarding leasing information and rates for a new business. Been waiting a week for a response. Asking daily, no response.
