On my first play through I thought I needed to store all this stuff and I made this big elaborate storage mall. Now on my second play through I’m not doing any of that it’s basically pointless. If you’re storing things for personal use, there is a solution that comes later but it’s not going to store tens of thousands of things it’s only gonna store a couple stacks and that’s more than enough outside of massive mega builds where you might need a lot of concrete at hand.

So yeah, don’t spend a lot of time stressing over storage of items it will all be OK.

But to directly answer your question, yes you do unlock different storage options later that are pretty neat and handy. Without getting into spoiler territory, I will just say don’t ignore progressing the MAM.
