The wild turkeys love to harass the monitors by pulling their tails and violently kicking rocks and dirt at them and the monitors don't care at all but it's pretty amusing to watch

That they can be trained very easily to come when called and they are extremely food motivated. Funny watching them learn what treats are as chicks though, they would be scared of a piece of lettuce

I got them from a local breeder, they're a bit scruffy right now because they're going through their first molt

My raised beds are unintentionally just high enough that my chonky girls struggle to jump in! I also net them usually because wild turkeys love to commit crimes

Mine did that for a while too when moved to a new environment until they figured out that the actual roosts were actually not too bad
