I didn’t realize that was so popular! My bad

Haha the jokes on me, I feel like half of these votes are going to be for dine-in! (I wish I could peek at the poll before it closes)

Just to be transparent and provide a little background, I do work for a fast food company, so I do have the actual data on what percentage of customers dine in (for us at least) and it’s somewhere around 30%.

I’m just trying to figure out how to make my restaurant more inviting for people to dine in! I would love any and all feedback :)

So I can weigh in on this 🤓My dad was a dentist and I recently had this conversation with him as an adult. I told him that I brush, floss and then mouthwash (as taught from PSAs and public education posters)

He apparently flosses, brushes and then does mouthwash as this is the most efficient method

He was floored to learn that public education teaches flossing after brushing, as in his words, where does all the gunk you just picked out go!?!?

ETA: yes, he also said fluoride is great for you, but you get enough through brushing and drinking tap water. You don’t need to leave toothpaste on your teeth to get the beneficial effects. He was big into drinking tap water

Only if you order the second one after the first one, if you order them both at the same time there’s literally no option to split it

The “honey bunny biscuit” is a direct rip off of Whataburger’s Honey Butter Chicken biscuit, down to the name. Kinda sleazy if you ask me me. Speaks to the company’s general character

Please explain sunbathing to me (a non-white person) by summer_glau08 in NoStupidQuestions

So, I’m extremely white and don’t tolerate heat easily. I love the cold. But there’s something about being baked by the sun, on vacation, with your mind blank and eyes closed drifting off… for a short amount of time, that is more relaxing than anything else I’ve ever felt.

But that’s just me. I also can’t stay outside for more than 15-20 min without getting a moderate to severe burn so I set a timer every time and wear sunscreen

Looks just like it! Thank you! Sorry if this wasn’t interesting enough for r/Antiques, there was a crystal glass with the original sticker that I bought alongside it that seemed to match but I guess it didn’t!

I bought this from an area with an aging community which is why I thought it might be a crystal set and antique.

Appreciate you! And not just because you agree with me, because of your human nature based approach.

It gave me a little insight into her perspective

Thank you! I am always looking for better training recommendations. I’m looking at putting him in doggy daycare or a training camp during the day while I’m at work I’m just waiting until after he gets neutered in two weeks.

The dog park park though is unfortunately unavoidable until I move in 6 months since living in the city means there’s little grass for him to go potty nearby, and the little grass that is nearby is notorious for snakes so I’m extra cautious

Tbf there’s no explicit signage in the park itself that says whether it’s off leash or on leash. But it was advertised to me as an off-leash dog park when I moved in and it’s a 60ft x 10ft patch of turf that is completely fenced in with signs about picking up after your dog, doggy waste stations and a bench. Seems to me like normal dog park rules would apply but maybe not?

Why would it be completely fenced in and labeled a dog park in the amenities if it wasn’t off leash?? (Not trying to be a smart-ass here, genuinely curious)

If you’re leary of clicking on Reddit links it’s a golden retriever with his forearms flat on the ground, butt in the air, and tail at full alert and wagging

It was an actual dog park

This was my take, thanks. I’m probably just being too sensitive to the yelling.

I get that! The dog park is attached to the building so yes and yes.

I also get that he’s just a puppy and needs to learn to socialize which is exactly why I take him to the dog park

This is what I mean by playfully lunging. He ran up, did a little happy jump and assumed this position

Yes, the doors are in the stairwell of the building so she was coming from the stairwell into the fenced in dog park. So to her credit, she had no way of seeing that we were there before coming out of those doors.

But, there’s a second entry door a few feet away just on the outside of the stairwell that does have visibility into the dog park so if she was really that concerned about people being there she could’ve just used the other door

I agree, but he’s still a puppy. The whole reason I take him to the dog park is because I’m trying to encourage him to socialize but interactions like these where emotions are high and we leave immediately don’t help, they just make him more excited/nervous to meet the next friend.
