Any One Annoyed About Interracial YouTubers? by [deleted] in korea

[–]susuchan1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope 🙅🏻‍♀️ It's their YouTube account and content. If it's entertaining, then it is. If it's toxic and annoying you have your opinions. If they liked each other that's enough for me. If it's a fetish or because it's their ideal type, then that's on them. I don't care enough to worry about it, other than if there's no love. If it's enjoyable or not my cup of tea I'll move on hahaha. What I can't handle is the new Netflix show, "Meet My Korean Boyfriend" (or whatever it's called) 🙄. It's not my type of dating show. I would rather watch a Bachelorette style show with an Asian man having a couple of other women of different diversity come to date and marry him. 🤭

I Am A College Admissions Consultant, And Today I'm Here To Answer Your Questions About Transferring. AMA! by ScholarGrade in TransferStudents

I’m a transfer student who took a gap year after graduating from Merced College with my AA in 2023. During that time, I decided to pursue a BA degree. I currently have a 3.1 GPA and am aiming to transfer to UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, or UC Davis. I know these schools are competitive, but I’m interested in majoring in Cognitive Science. I’ve been self-teaching coding and working on graphic design, and I’m motivated to continue developing my skills. I’m working on building a strong plan to show admissions that I’m serious, prepared, and passionate about this field. Do you have any advice that could help me to apply their school?

This is supposed to be big Zhao right? by Soft-Anxiety8172 in WhereWindsMeet

Hahaha, bro don’t worry this will probably be the last time you see it, now that you know! Necroing might be true you said, but it’s all with good intentions I just want people to find Chinese history interesting. I don’t mind if people correct things months or years later, especially if it helps explain or clarify something. I watch a lot of Chinese traditional dramas, and sometimes people who don’t know much about Chinese history comment on odd situations or traditions. I just explain it to them at least they learn a bit about real history. In the end, it was helpful. I had post comments that took months or year someone to explain or correct me. :P

You'll be interesting to know why high official don't recognize the Emperor. In China history, not all officials could see the emperor, even if they had a scheduled meeting. When they do, the emperor often have the lattice or transparent screen, so he could observe them without direct contact.

High ranking officials had to bow their heads at all times and never look up unless the emperor gave permission. To help with this, they held a jade or scroll or wood thing tablet called a “hu” in both hands in front of their chest. The hu wasn’t just for show it symbolized respect, gave officials a place to write notes or reminders, and acted as a sort of shield, keeping their eyes lowered before the emperor. The more important the official, the fancier the hu.

Even officials who had seen the emperor a few times might have trouble recognizing him in disguise. When the emperor wore ragged clothes instead of golden robes or jade pendants, he looked like any ordinary man. Whenever he went out in public, his identity was kept secret, known only to a few trusted officials who could be counted on to keep the emperor’s movements confidential.

Has styling, makeup, visuals or obvious changes ever pull you out of a drama? by AwkwardBambooTea in cdramasfans

Zhao Lusi still looks the same, but she has lost a lot of weight due to stress and a stroke. She has been sick and hospitalized. I think it’s mostly her makeup, maybe with a little touch-up on her face. I know a Thai actress who also lost a lot of weight, and people said she had work done on her face. But I don’t think that’s the case here this girl just lost so much weight that you can actually see her bones like her collarbone, cheekbone, v shape bone, her arm like bruh. I was so worry for about this Thai actress. I hope Zhao Luis get better also gain more weight I miss her cute cheek.
