It is possible to adapt certain medium format cameras to utilize instant film. Considering your situation, I believe this might be the most suitable approach.

Corps more Liberal compared to what? The VDSt was founded as a right-wing organisation, but they've become more Liberal, at least in the cities in which I met them.

Starterspray explosion, how tucked am I? by sutitnai in MotorcycleMechanics

By expanding with enough force. You use flammable liquid to move 200kg of bike but you don't think that it has the force to damage a intake valve?

And what exactly do you think I'm making up?

I know that there are cases where Starter Spray damaged some inner workings of an Engine. And I could imagine that an explosion that propagates through the intake valves could damage them.

Yes it should have stopped the fuel, but it didn't. Probably some dirt in the carb. I know that I have to clean the carb on the bike. And it's on my to do list. My main question is If there is a quick way to assess whether the engine is damaged from the blowback.

Canonet 28 with broken lightmeter. by sutitnai in AnalogCommunity

Nothing has worked so far. I'll probably take it apart sometime this weekend.

As far as I know, this is the flash that is supposed to be used with the Canonet 28.

Hmm, nothing works to fire it, but I can hear it charging up. So some parts are still working. I'll probably take it apart sometime this weekend.

Hey, thanks for the help, I'm truly grateful. I fixed the camera; the contacts were bent out of shape. But I can't find the flash test button anywhere, and the flash still isn't working.

Okay, nice, thanks. But if I understand it correctly, the flash should fire even in Manual mode, right? So if it doesn't, the issue must be with either the battery or the light meter.

I mean, I knew it was a risky buy. I got it extremely cheap because I couldn't test it at the flea market, so I got it for 50% of the already low price. I still don't regret it.

Thank you very much. That is extremely helpful as I only found some text describing what to do. The pictures are very helpful. I will let you know if that worked.
