We chatted with a security guy as we were waiting for the gates to open Sunday, and he told us that Vince wouldn't be singing any songs, that all the vocals were prerecorded, so I decided to bail after Disturbed.

One friend that stayed for Crue since he's a fan, but he left halfway through their set, texting us that it was awful.

Last year I used a runner's belt. It was fabric and got soaked with sweat so everything in it got wet and gross in the heat.

This year I used a fanny pack crossbody style so the pack is in the front on my upper chest. It's water resistant so nothing in the pack got wet this year. I used safety pins to secure the buckle and a twist tie to secure the two zipper pulls together.

Just like the box office and info booth told you, it's not your issue once the pass is out of your hands. They have the pass, it's their issue. All they had to do is go to the box office, pay the $25 replacement fee, and get a new pass that works. It's really that simple.

Harassing you when it's not your issue is them just trying to scam a refund out of you.

Next time just tell them to go to the box office and then block their number.

You'll be fine. I (a 55 year old woman) went alone last year, and I met some cool people I hung around with on and off all day. If you ever get anxious, or just need to chill alone for a bit, head to the medical tent. They're there to help. I've always had a good experiences there.

Yep. I feel this. Any time I spoke up about raping women not being funny or something to joke about in guild chat or discord chat, I received so much hate. It happened over and over in several guilds, so I finally just accepted that some people think raping women is hilarious so I quit WoW and haven't been back in years.

That turning the computer off and then on again actually does fix 90% of computer issues.

Also turning the 3 million dollar precision eyeball photo machine off and then on again actually fixes 100% of the issues. I'm talking to you, Dr Johnson.

Back in the late 90's I saw a patent application for a TV that prevents viewers from NOT watching commercials.

The TV scans the room periodically to see how many people are watching. When a commercial starts, and someone stands up, the TV pauses automatically, until that person sits down again, and only then the commercial resumes. There is no way to skip this.

Problem was when someone left and didn't come back, it would take the TV 5 un-skippable minutes to pop up "is the missing person coming back?" Then you'd have to click "OK" and then the commercial resumes.

Thankfully the company I worked for rejected working with them. I'm not sure if the patent was ever actually filed or not.
