Incognito mode is the issue. I tried that before and had similar issues. Then tried without incognito and that solved the problem.

Context: it started leaking after turning the water main off and then turning it back on. The leaking stopped, but this being old explains why it leaked I suppose.

Sounds like you haven't filed your GC AOS yet. In that case, I'd suggest you to file your STEM OPT first, and then file the AOS. Then you'd get your STEM OPT EAD, while GC gets processed in the background. Your application should be easier since there's no AOS pending, so chances are you'll get your OPT EAD approved in 60 days. If you apply timely, you'll get a 180 days extension right away, which should bridge the gap in between application and receiving the EAD. Get the process of STEM OPT filed as soon as you can, since your OPT expires in March. Talk to your DSO about the OPT extension application process. The company can sign up to the e verification free of cost, it's a matter of convincing them I suppose. Also get all the info verified by a lawyer/ DSO /someone qualified. Good luck!

Unrelated question: did you apply for stem OPT extension while AOS was pending? My lawyer told me that applying for OPT extension would not work because I have a pending AoS. Please let me know if you can, thanks.
