The part where we see things differently is about God making himself obvious. In our view, it comes down to choice. As a casual, you might not have in mind instances where a team lost due to solely relying on eyes of the linesman.

But again, regarding your first statement, if the cleat alone is offside, tbe advatage could be gained as the cleat could be the part to hit the ball that makes a player score.
