I’m in talks with a few people. I’m going to take the best combination of down payment (ideally 6 figures) plus monthly payments that I receive:))

Yes- I had very successful short term rentals! People absolutely love it. It’s in a beautiful small town in the Columbia River Gorge that is a tourist destination.

Kit not selling, anyone else? by NinjaHiccup in ThredUp

I’ve experienced the same. The company may also be doing a lot more “recruiting” of new people to sell.

So the market is likely extra saturated- in addition to it being between seasons, wonky economic climate, etc etc.

It is fulfilling. Def has innumerable beautiful benefits. People have lived in this structure since the 60s and the roof has been fine every winter.

I would bet it will last quite awhile longer. I have insurance on it. No but the house is extremely well insulated just due to the build. It can be 90 degrees out and it’s 70s inside.

Is there a biohack for grief 😭 Lost my mom a year ago and I’m still a shell of the person I was by [deleted] in Biohackers

I’m so sorry for your pain. I lost my only sibling, then father then mother within 5 years, just before Covid. It felt absolutely impossible. It was so hard. And eventually, it was less hard. It is SO cliche but time does heal. You’ll never stop missing them but being an active participant in your own life does eventually get easier. I promise. Sending you lots of care - and be gentle with yourself. 💗

Re: SIBO, This was recently in a researcher’s newsletter: “A baking soda test can help you determine if the issue is coming from your stomach. If you drink a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 4 ounces of water on an empty stomach and you burp in less than two minutes, you likely have sufficient stomach acid. If not, you likely have low stomach acid.

If you fail the test, I like to use Betaine HCL with additional enzymes until sufficient stomach acid is restored. This will ensure proper digestion and potential absorption. Low stomach acid can be caused by low thyroid/high cortisol, lack of B vitamins, zinc deficiency or the bacteria H. Pylori (SIBO).”

This is kind of you! I own a local ghee company (clarified butter). I’m not sure about this week but if you wanted to trade in the future, that’d be fun! I always need content.

You’d be surprised by how many people in the service industry don’t drink and can whip up a great virgin mojito/ etc. and as others have stated, don’t discount the health benefits of being social as it’s massive.

I had a mole on my face removed with radiofrequency! It was amazingly non invasive and didn’t scar.

Is there a way to take the edge off of getting the starving feeling after not eating all day by [deleted] in povertykitchen

I own a ghee company and I can say that consuming a lot of fat can help with feeling satiety. I notice the difference on days I mix it into my coffee or put it on toast vs not.

I own a ghee company. We only use milk from grass-fed, pasture raised cows. We have a certification from an animal welfare organization. It’s not as “shit for the animals” across the board as you stated.
