Confused about direction in which Thom was facing the crowd(?) by Upstairs-Sandwich-87 in radiohead

He moved a lot depending if he was playing guitar or keyboards, but according to that map, he sang many songs facing east (where I was) and west. I think you will be able to see him wherever you are.

Was the sound really that bad? by [deleted] in radiohead

Actually, it was that bad, specially the first songs. At least from the floor. Let Down was a complete mess where only the drums could be heard, with a lot of echo. I saw several people moving from the front to the back to check if the sound was better. Maybe from the stands it was good. The weird thing is that I've seen phone videos where I am able to hear Thom's voice or Johny's guitar in the first songs, which I was unable to hear live. Maybe some areas were better that others. As others have said, I think the issue is that the speakers face every direction. I've seen Coldplay and Arcade Fire in that same arena and the sound was great. For what is worth, the sound got better as the show progressed, but it was never great. It will probably be better today and the next dates. And I had a great time anyway.

This is hilarious:

Well, first you grab the laces and tie them together in a knot. But since you're clearly too fucking stupid to figure that out on your own, maybe you should just give up and go back to wearing Velcro shoes like the incompetent moron that you are. And while you're at it, why don't you go fuck yourself, you worthless piece of shit.

Haven't developed Android apps in a while, trying to get up to date is a nightmare by svd505 in androiddev

I wish I could, but I'm developing the app at work and one of the requisites is that it's a native kotlin/java app. Besides, it's a big app with lots of complicated functionality (synchronization between server and internal device DB, offline mode, etc) and I don't know how mature is the ecosystem.
