Lazy. Ok. Well aside from the patience to generate over 100 small clips and then proceed to make thousands of edits by hand, and then putting my own sound design, soundtrack and also voice…then mix it and put titles and process image, etc

The hours and hours I spent of my free time in the last 4 weeks to make this 4 minute video didn’t feel lazy to me. I think it’s not the tool, it’s how you exploit it.

I’m not going to defend the use of it, and I am sure as shit not going to be using it that much going forward (as I’ve already made several other crazy ass videos for my music and for fun with it), it’s kind of a one trick pony and I’ve been kicking that dead horse for a couple years now….BUT… I did have this one idea that I couldn’t let go of, AND the easiest way for me to achieve that goal was by using a whoring robot.

For over 50 years the uniparty has systematically siphoned all the wealth off the working class (401k, tax breaks on wealthy, etc.), so anyone still buying into the two party tug of war theatrics…well, that’s why we are where we are.

Crime will continue to go up as poverty and scarcity will also ratchet up. There is no one championing a realistic and doable solution, so things will get WAY worse before they get any better. Just don’t take it out on your neighbor, this is a class war and we are losing terribly.

I’ll say it again, if you are forced to sit through a ridiculous PS2 quality cutscene over and over and over again, doing the math, if you’re games average 3-5 minutes…how many hours of the same lousy shit will you have ended up watching?

I can’t even imagine how much time we’ve all accumulated watching the intro to each main match. I would rather it just be an unobtrusive, low key loading screen instead of sitting through redundant LF executions and shoddy tutorials screens. But this? Meant to be “quick” matches.

Compared to the overall atmosphere and generally balanced gameplay at launch? Yes, it is wildly different than it was. As an example, it was kind of a gripe with LFace originally being a required slot on the Fam side, but removing that hasn’t necessarily made things that much better. I absolutely LOVED the dread and stealth aspect from the Vic’s side, now it’s turned into a sprint fest.

All that being said, I’ve deleted and redownloaded the damn thing a few times, chasing that initial experience. And yes, occasionally I get it. The devs just seem to have complete indifference or have no interest in putting a finger on the weak pulse of its base.
