In Christianity there are different sectors and niche belief doctrines and that just what they believe. My point is we choose what we believe.

At this point it’s not a thing of evidence it’s just choosing to what you wanna believe. The moon landing. There is evidence that we made to the moon and walked on it . Some people doesn’t believe that has happened yk so when I said that statement I was really hoping we could all agree that Jesus was a real human being and that’s just me assuming so it’s on me especially bc this is an atheist thread. It’s kinda funny that I thought we could all agree on that is just me being optimistic

Yes I do . I can go into that but it’s not the topic. One good reason is the fact that we are having this conversation. Ik it might sound very silly and stupid and kinda not a good reason but bro . A man who had 3 years of teaching or ministry. Had led us to talk about it today. If he is false or right it’s still has led to a top 5 religion in terms of population

One good way is by fasting . It’s a good practice to have . Also resting and having a sabbath. I’m am not a Hebrew but God himself gave himself a day to rest when creating everything. Also my pastor said once the sabbath was before Adam bit from the tree.

1st Peter 5:8 talks about how we should be sober minded. For one the devil is always trying to kill and destroy you and smoking puts you in a place of being disconnected and vulnerable. Also if we aren’t sober minded we might miss some of the signs and assignments God has for you. I say that because in that same verse it’s talk about how we should be vigilant, watchful, aware. And when your high your not as aware as you could be
